NSC St. Louis Branch Office and Warehouse Addition:
· This 24,000 SF project consists of an office/warehouse building addition to an existing one-story warehouse building, and selective exterior repairs at existing warehouse building, and related site work. The site is contained within the North-Side Development Area of Downtown St. Louis.
· The office portion of the addition will function as the St. Louis branch office for the MEP/HVAC supply business. The branch office contains a two-story product display showroom and customer service area, as well as business offices and meeting spaces on the first floor and a mezzanine.
· The warehouse addition contains customer service docks, receiving docks with air bag levelers, and a pipe-truck delivery drive-through, and a 6 ton crane with dual hoist. The warehouse space is open to the existing warehouse.
· The addition become the new face of the existing building and incorporates company branding into the design in terms of signage placement and exterior colors. The roof structure is designed to support future solar panels, and day-lighting from clerestory windows will supplement interior lighting. The pattern of the ribs in the existing precast concrete building were mimicked with reveals in the new tilt-up concrete panels in order to relate the structures visually.
· A user friendly customer service counter is the focal point to service St. Louis industry clientele by allowing them to interact with the staff in timely manner. The Inside Sales Department on the mezzanine level has been carefully designed to accommodate a highly knowledgeable staff using up-to-date systems furniture that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also allows the staff to work effectively in their environment.
· Services also included Interior Design of the branch office by creating an industrial space by using aged steel and organic color, product placement, marketing and visual merchandising,
